Privacy

What nephew.ai keeps about you, and what it never sees. Last changed 1 November 2026.

The short version

• Nephew runs on your computer. Your profiles, cookies and provider keys stay with you. No Nephew server holds them, so there is nothing of yours for us to leak.
• We keep an email address only when you give us one: to hear when a plan opens, or to buy BYO.
• We never see your card. Stripe handles payment.
• This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

The Nephew app

• Everything Nephew captures lives in a bundle on your machine or on cloud accounts you own. Nephew can't read it from here.
• On the Free plan the app sends us nothing.
• On BYO, nephew login and later checks send your licence key and the app's version number to nephew.ai, and get back your plan and its limits. Nothing else is sent.
• nephew revoke deletes a bundle and leaves a signed receipt. The receipt stays on your machine too.

"Notify me" on the pricing page

• You pick a Google account. Google tells us the address, and we keep the address, the plan you asked about, and the time.
• We send one email when that plan opens, then delete the list.
• Want off the list sooner? Email us and we remove you.

Buying BYO

• Payment goes through Stripe Checkout. Stripe sees your card; we don't. Stripe's privacy notice: stripe.com/privacy.
• We keep your email, your licence key, your plan's status and renewal date, and Stripe's ids for your customer record and subscription.
• We email you your licence key from no-reply@nephew.ai. Stripe sends receipts and invoices; they name our billing account, kickaround.app, and the charge reads NEPHEW BYO.
• Cancel or change your card any time from the Manage link on your welcome page. Your data goes when your subscription ends and you ask, or after we close the service.

Who else touches the data

• Google, for the account picker (only when you use Notify me).
• Stripe, for payments.
• Resend, which carries our emails.
• Railway, where the sign-up and billing services run. GitHub Pages, which serves this site and keeps its own server logs.

Your rights

• Ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email efibendor@gmail.com. We answer within a week.
